Why this is urgent in Europe

Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act applies to e-commerce and consumer digital services across the EU. In Italy it lands through Legislative Decree 82/2022, with fines from €5,000 to €40,000 or up to 5% of turnover. Germany applies it through the BFSG. Microenterprises — under 10 staff and under €2M turnover — are exempt for services, but not for products.

What the audit covers

• Automated testing across the site, plus manual testing: keyboard-only navigation, screen reader, 200% zoom, reflow at 320px
• Findings ranked blocking / serious / minor, each mapped to the WCAG criterion it fails
• Remediation estimate in hours, so you can budget before you commit
• A one-page summary for non-technical stakeholders

What it is not

It is not a certification — those come from accredited bodies, not consultants. And I will not sell you an accessibility overlay widget: they do not work, and they have been the subject of litigation in several countries.
